Summer School at Churchill can provide a much-needed boost to the LD student who intends to remain in a traditional school environment. For the incoming Churchill day school student, summer school is a great way to make friends while getting acclimated to new learning styles.

For the LD child who has been frustrated by failure, the first summer at Churchill can be one of profound transformation. It's often their first opportunity to be surrounded by bright, successful children who share their learning difficulties. As a result, they often begin to view themselves in a new, positive light–not just for a summer, but for a lifetime.

It's a beautiful thing to see and one of the big reasons we look forward to summers here at Churchill.
